Events are at the heart of the French-American Heritage Foundation of Minnesota (FAHF). Each year, we host community gatherings, cultural celebrations, and educational programs that bring our shared history to life.
From our annual fur trade presentations to our celebration of Bastille Day, FAHF events honor the traditions of French-speaking people who helped shape Minnesota while creating space for new generations to connect with this heritage.

Why Our Events Matter
FAHF events are more than celebrations; they are essential touchpoints for our community. They allow us to:
- Share and preserve French-American culture through authentic engagement.
- Educate new audiences about the nuances of Minnesota’s French-speaking heritage.
- Build connections through food, music, storytelling, and shared history.
Proposed Future Projects
Our board and volunteers are currently exploring new programs. Dates and details are subject to change, but here are some ideas we have in mind for the community:
- Tremblay / Nadon Ancestral Connections Among Québec, Manitoba, Minnesota, and the Métis Nation presentation by Danielle Enblom
- The French Fur Trade in Minnesota presentation by Greg Cash, Lake City Historical Society
- Rev. E.B. Gauverau, and the former Beardsley, Minnesota, Church presenation by Mark Dillon

FAHF events are open to all. We welcome community members of every background to join us in celebrating French-American heritage.
